Eduardo Zamora paints as if he were trying to exorcise the distress and misery which prevail in his native country. His works are a testimony to “social surrealism”, through the representation of a metaphorical world in which hybrid characters are the custodians of traditions and folklore, evolving in a joyful and cynical universe where poetry and mystery intertwine.
Eduardo Zamora lives and works in Paris.
“My native country is ill. Painting protects me from the violence imposed by reality. What comes from deep inside is always incredibly humane…”.
